Chicago’s renowned A&A BALLET Company is excited to present its critically acclaimed Art Deco Nutcracker. This unique rendition of the classic holiday ballet has garnered praise for its innovative choreography, stunning period costumes, and captivating set designs, all inspired by the glamorous, exuberant Art Deco era of the 1920s.
Miss Miina Fujie (13), will perform again this year at the Art Deco Nutcracker! She is the winner of the Second Place in 2024, and First Place in the 2023 International Ballet Competition "Youth America Grand Prix" - Chicago, Classical Dance Category of the Pre-Competitive Age Division.

About the Show
According to the website of the A&A Ballet where Fujie studies, it was set in 1920s America, Alexei Kremnev’s one-of-a-kind “The Art Deco Nutcracker,” featuring Tchaikovsky’s beloved score, is a fresh, yet traditional take on the beloved holiday favorite with costume and set design inspired by the unique sophistication of the Art Deco era. Stunning choreography puts the best young talent on display with an international, multicultural cast, and International Top Awards winners. Renowned dancer, choreographer, and Artistic Director Alexei Kremnev is at the helm as Drosselmeyer.
The 2024 production includes lead roles filled by three women of diverse backgrounds, making it one of the first ballet companies to do so.
This critically acclaimed, one-of-a-kind performance features children and is visually stimulating and fun for the entire family.
