2023 Illinois Japan Bowl

Sponsored by the Japan America Society of Chicago, the Illinois Japan Bowl is an academic competition which covers a wide range of topics that tests high school students who are studying the Japanese language across the state of Illinois. The competition tests not only their knowledge of the language, but also their understanding of traditional and modern Japan. Students must currently be enrolled in Level 2,3 or 4 Japanese in order to participate. Level 1 students may also participate in a practice competition. The public is welcome to attend the Opening Ceremony from 10:00-10:30 am and/or the Closing Ceremony from 1:30-2:30 pm.

Hours: 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
