The Bridge Dance Festival began in 2018 as the culmination of four years of Japanese-focused programming at Links Hall. Now in its 4th year, Bridge Dance is returning to a live performance format. Dancers from Japan and Chicago will present their own pieces and collaborate together in the spirit of a more harmonious tomorrow. The artists of the 2022 Bridge Dance Festival include Mari Fujihira and Kiyotaka Suzuki from Tokyo, Japan, Shalaka Kulkarni, Resident Artist at Mandala Arts, and Sound Technician Takashi Shallow.
