Corporate Social Responsibility from Japan to the U.S. (Online)

Corporate Social Responsibility, or CSR, is a form of self-regulation that reflects a business’s accountability and commitment to contributing to the well-being of communities and society through various environmental and social measures. Japanese companies have been contributing to society in both Japan and the United States. In this webinar by the Japan America Society of Chicago, speaker Tara Havlicek (Program Manager, Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation) will highlight Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation’s grantmaking in the US, along with Mitsubishi Electric’s charitable giving and volunteer efforts in both Japan and the US and why it is an important part of the corporate strategy. She will also focus on the impact CSR efforts have on a company culture, local nonprofits, and the environment.
