 About the Show

According to the website of the A&A Ballet where Fujie studies, it was set in 1920s America, Alexei Kremnev’s one-of-a-kind “The Art Deco Nutcracker,” featuring Tchaikovsky’s beloved score, is a fresh, yet traditional take on the beloved holiday favorite with costume and set design inspired by the unique sophistication of the Art Deco era. Stunning choreography puts the best young talent on display with an international, multicultural cast, and International Top Awards winners. Renowned dancer, choreographer, and Artistic Director Alexei Kremnev is at the helm as Drosselmeyer.

The 2023 production includes lead roles filled by three women of diverse backgrounds, making it one of the first ballet companies to do so.

This critically acclaimed, one-of-a-kind performance features children and is visually stimulating and fun for the entire family.
