The Art of Wagashi : Recipes for Japanese Sweets that Delight the Palate and the Eyes is a Japanese tasting workshop at the Anderson Japanese Gardens. Professor Gunji will demonstrate how to make three different wagashi (Japanese sweets) from her book, The Art of Wagashi: Recipes for Japanese Sweets that Delight the Palate and the Eyes. Each wagashi will then be served with the most appropriate tea. The list of wagashi and tea to be served includes Kohakuito with cold barley tea, Kingyokukan with blueberries and kiwi with sencha (high quality green tea), and Ichigo daifuku with matcha green tea.
