Happy 94th Birthday to Yayoi Kusama! Join the JASC in a presentation about the life and art work of this legendary artist. This lecture will offer details of Kusama’s career, which has spanned seven decades, and include Kusama’s life in Japan, and her travels to the United States. The presentation will feature Kusama’s art work in various formats, including her painting, sculpture and installation. It will also highlight her fashion projects, and the current collaboration with Louis Vuitton: Louis Vuitton® x Yayoi Kusama Collection. The featured speaker is Mary Ellen Murphy, Volunteer Docent, Museum of Contemporary Art.
