JETAA Chicago & JASC YPC Book Club: Confessions (Online)

JETAA/JASC book club focuses on highlighting voices and stories with a strong connection to Japan. For our next meeting, we have chosen Confessions. Written by Kanae Minato, October's pick is narrated in alternating voices, with twists you'll never see coming. Confessions explores the limits of punishment, despair, and tragic love, culminating in a harrowing confrontation between teacher and student that will place the occupants of an entire school in danger. Be sure to pick up a copy of the book and then join us for an evening of casual discussion in a virtual space via Zoom! Registrations are limited, so grab a spot while you can.
