Journey to Hokuriku: Ishikawa (Online)

This webinar, “The Culture of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Passed Down from the Samurai Era,” is hosted by the Japan America Society of Chicago. During the Samurai period (1603-1868), Kanazawa invested more in culture than in military affairs, and many cultures flourished as a result. Centuries later, we are still carrying on the traditions from that time. We would like to trace Kanazawa’s past and present with you. The speaker will be Yumiko Omoteguchi, Team Leader, Inbound Tourism Division, Ishikawa Prefectural Government.

Hours: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm Chicago time

Cost: $0 - $20
