Mochi Tsuki

Come and participate in making mochi (dumplings of sweet rice) the traditional way at the Buddhist Temple of Chicago. Small-size mallets will be available for children to use - so bring the whole family. The pounding starts around 10am but you can come earlier to help with set up. Plates of mochi will be sold on first-come basis (no pre-orders) and this year you can buy kagami-mochi for your New Year's table decoration.
